Understanding queuing and scheduling on ES+ line cards

Hi,

I am having trouble understanding the difference regarding queuing and scheduling between the cards WS-X6704-10GE and 76-ES+XT-4TG3C on a 7600 chasis.

In the data sheet of the WS-X6704-10GE says the following:

Queues: RX: 8q8t and TX: 1p7q8t

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/solutions/collateral/data-center-virtualization/data-center-switching/net_business_benefit0900aecd805348f3.html

In the data sheet of the 76-ES+XT-4TG3C.  says the following:

Hardware queues:

ES Plus XT 40G line cards

• 128,000 ingress queues

• 128,000 egress queues

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/7600-series-routers/data_sheet_c78-549419.html

¿Why is there a lot of difference between the queues?

I noted that in the ES+ line card you can't configure random-detect at the interface level and define thresholds, only using H-QoS and applying the policy map to the interface. ¿Is this the correct way to do it?

Also i noted that you can't  configure specific queue parameters per queue  like wrr-queue random-detect min-threshold 4 25 1 1 1 or the cos-map command. So ¿does the linecard perform an automatic queue configuration based on the traffic?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

Regards,
