Hi,
we intend to deploy a centralized BRAS solution in our network using 7600 routers, where the ADSL users are bridged through VPLS instance to two remote PE peers where the Centralised BRAS is attached, all the users will be received on many service instances on different interfaces where they will be aggregated in one Bridge domain and Vlan, and that VLAN to be xconnected with vfi instance to the remote BRAS PE peers.
My Questions are the following:
1- what is the maximum mac addresses that can be learnt or bridged using one VPLS instance on 7600 with RSP-720, ES20 and ES+ modules.
2- Can we configure one VPLS neighbor as active and the other as Backup in the VPLS configuration, and if not, how can we accheive VPLS peers redundancy
3- Can we configure VPLS instance, where the access and core links are on the same ES20 or ES+ module?
