hi,

can someone pls give a detailed explanation on forwarding adjacency and its role in mpls-te.I have read that only ISIS as an IGP supports this,and just wanted to know the equivalent feature in ospf..?

Forwarding Adjacencies (FA) have for purpose to take a tunnel interface and advertise it in the IGP just as any of the physical links. This way you can force traffic from upstream routers to go down the tunnnel.

FA was first supported for ISIS but has also been available for OSPF since 12.0(24)S. For more information on FA support for OSPF, use the following URL.
