H-VPLS on a 7600 Series requires both the WAN Facing Module and the LAN Facing Module to either be a OSM, SIP-400/600 with SPA cards, or a Ethernet Services 20G Line Card (ES20), whereas plain VPLS only requires the WAN side to be one of the above modules and the LAN side to be any Catalyst based card.
My question is this, Can you put the WAN and LAN ports in a H-VPLS network in the same Ethernet Serivces 20G Line Card (or OSM, SIP400/600 etc)and perform H-VPLS functionality or do you have to have two seperate physical cards, one physical card for the WAN side and one physical card for the LAN side?
