IOS-XR VRF BGP MED preservation between two BGP CE sites

Hi Cisco Experts,

BGP MED is non-transitive BGP attribute and the MED value learned from an eBGP peer will not be advertised to other eBGP peer, by default on IPv4.

The question is, for MPLS VPN between two VRF sites with BGP is running as PC-CE protocol, there is need for Transparent MED value between the two remote CE, so that the MED value learned from one CE is transparently received by the CE on remote site.

Is this a supported feature in the IOS-XR (4.2.3)? From my lab testing, this is not support. Any cmd available to enable this?

lab topology:

CE-A===(BGP)===PE-A ===(MPLS Core)===PE-B===(BGP)===CE-B

Observation:

CE-A advertise a route with MED 3000. From both PE-A and PE-B BGP table, the MED 3000 is seen but CE-B is showing MED 0.

i think you may try using PE-CE IBGP feature to achieve this.
