ISIS Inter Area "ia" routes redistribution into OSPF !

Dear All

Can anyone clarify with facts whether we can redistribute ISIS inter area "ia" routes into OSPF or not in Cisco IOS or not ?

I am trying it on IOS 12.2 33-SRE and it's not working.  I can redistribute all Level-1,Level-2 routes into OSPF fine from ISIS but not the Level-2 routes leaked into Level-1 as inter area "ia"

When I tried doing same on IOS-XR there has been no issues.

Hello.

Redistribution of "interarea/summary" prefixes is not supported into IGP protocols, especially OSPF (as both are link-state protocols).

This behaviour for summary is covered by CSCeb83912 (it says "expected").
