Few observation of overload bit between IOS and IOS-XR
Topology: GSR (IOS-XR 3.9.1) ----------7600 (SRE4)
A tunnel is configured between these two routers with source/destination as loopback.
In normal situation TE is up and carrying traffic.
Test1: When ISIS overload bit set on GSR the tunnel gone down on GSR side however stays up on 7600 side.
Test2: When ISIS overload bit set on 7600 side the tunnel gone down on GSR side however it stays up on 7600 side.
Test3: Also tested the same between two 7600 nodes and Tunnel remain up on both side.
As much as I understand there is some enhancement (changes) done between IOS and IOS-XR.
Anybody aware of this changes / why changes done / how XR putting tunnel down ever if destination is not transit via. GSR. As per ISIS behavior with normal IOS the tunnel should not go down on any of the node as the destination network is not in transit.
