MPSL PE and CE with ospf

Hello Samne,

have a look at the OSPF sham link concept to deal with backdoor links between sites like the link between R1 and R8 in your network diagram.

In order to build a working setup you need to have area 0 on PE-CE links on both sites and then you need an OSPF sham link between the PE nodes. The sham link will allow to build routes as O routes instead of O IA and this will allow to move traffic from direct link between sites.

Your current setup with non zero area connected to PE nodes with different area-id does not allow to move traffic from direct link to MPLS L3 VPN service
