AFAIK, you will need MPLS Aware Netflow (Netflow V9) supported by your IOS and the switching platform. I believe this support is there in IOS 12.4T.

These links would be handy in configuring the same.

according to the feature navigator, MPLS-Aware Netflow doesn't work with 3845, no matter which image i use.

can it be?

do i have some other option?

Pls go through this white paper, it lists the platforms and the supported netflow versions and features per platform.

As per it you should have the Netflow V9 in 12.4T.

I checked the FN, as it doesnt show up the 3845 for the MPLS Aware Netflow.

Although it does support Netflow V9 export, which will export couple of new data sets including MPLS.

But I believe on the 3845 the MPLS accounting is not there yet, so even if it supports exporting that data, there is no capability to account for it in the first place.

Its a good idea to check with your local account SE regarding any roadmap of the feature for your platform.

Swaroop
