NTP and MPLS

I am unable to synchronize my router's clock with a NTP server located in a VRF attached to the router. I specified the MPLS interface in a "ntp source" statement but the debugging output still reports that there is no route to the server. Is this possible to do? Thanks in advance.

You need to configure VRF aware NTP for it to work.

ntp server vrf

Hope this helps,

hritter,

Yeah...I found that right after my post. Don't know how I missed it. Thank you for your prompt response.

What if the client router was under a VRF while the NTP is running on the PE in the GRT.

Would the NTP client syncronize in this case..?
