Ospf Scaling Issues

Hi All,

Does any one know the maximum number of ospf adjencies that cisco router support when accting as a PE device connected to a CE .

Hello Patricio,

heavier duties are for the DR / BDR on lan segment.

In normal routing it is not recommended to have more then 40-50 routers in the same lan segment.

Possible suggestions are to divide in multiple lan segments, to use two PE nodes and make them DR alternate on vlans/subnets
