Hi

i have in my network a pe1 that connect to pe2. Pe2 connect to the P.

when the line from pe2 to pe1 is down, after it get up again, all the ldp neighbor and ospf is up too, but  suddenly  i don't have ping the lan segments of pe1. It is happen all the time, and it works out after couple day by itself. Mpls clear ldp nei and clear ospf proccess on the two pe's don't solve it. I did also reload to the pe1, and nothing change (i have ping to the loopback of the pe2, just for the lan segments i don't have ping after the link is down and up again).

can anybody know what could be the problem?

Are you using RSVP or TE-tunnels on PE1 and PE2 ?

Hi,

Could be a CEF or mpls label programming issue. which hw/sw are you using at PE1 ? Did you try running pings with options when the issue is present ?

Thx,

Douglas
