Why LDP didn't assign label to Loopback while SR did assign

Why LDP didn't assign label to Loopback while SR did assign , what is the technicality behind that

What makes me prefer SR over LDP , ???

that preference is set that way:

Segment Routing and LDP Preference
The command sr-label-preferred allows the forwarding interface to prefer the segment routing labels over LDP labels for all prefixes in a topology.
