CloudCenter 4.8.2 in VMWare

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to deploy the new version of cloudcenter (4.8.2) in VMWare environment using virtual appliances, my architecture is: 1 CCM, 1 CCO, 1 AMQP, 1 ELK 1 POSTGRESS. I have checked all the conections between them and everything is ok, but for some reason I can not acces to the CCM, I mean, I actually can access to the web server, but it only shows me a grey page (no error messages), the problem seems to be with nignx, this is the output of the nginx-error.log file:

==> /var/log/nginx/error.log <==

2018/02/20 16:38:32 [error] 4440#4440: *17 connect() failed (111: Connection refused) while connecting to upstream, client: xx.xx.xx.xx server: _, request: "GET /system/service/get_session HTTP/2.0", upstream: "http://127.0.0.1:8080/system/service/get_session", host: "<CCM_IP>", referrer: "https://<CCM_IP>/"

and seems that the postgres VM doesn't start the postgres service for somehow, i have all the ports that it needs open and I only set the CCM ip in the db_config_wizard

The CCO and the Rabbitqm are okay I can list the connections and users from the rabbitmqctl command

Any idea what I can check in order to fix it?

Thank you all

Best regards,

Gabriel Peral.

Have you done the DB configuration?

https://docs.cloudcenter.cisco.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=16352334#Database(Required)-MGMTPOSTGRES%E2%80%93ConfigureDBAccess

And followed the rest of the install steps?

https://docs.cloudcenter.cisco.com/display/CCD482/Phase+4+Overview

If so and you are still having issues, then I suggest opening a TAC case.

Hi Christopher,

Yeah I did the DB VM configuration, but for any unkown reason, when I go to the wizard and set the CCM IP and then save an exit, if I enter again the CCM IP field it's empty, I tryied with the cli script instead and it seems that the postgress service doesn't start.

I don't know what can be happen because this is the vmware virtual appliance and the firewall and ports are correctly done.
