3rd party routers and switches with ISE

Hi,

Are non-Cisco routers and switches (which are not listed here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/identity-services-engine/216120-ise-security-ecosystem-integration-guide.html) OK with the ISE server? Can I use the ISE server with them?
What will I miss when I use a non-Cisco router/switch with Cisco ISE in terms of functionalities?

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Our customer does all its accounting by ISE. And I guess they do other stuff, like authentication, too. They are using ISE and it's a must.
I want to know that is it enough for a router to have 802.1x and RADIUS capability and maybe other standard features to be compatible with the ISE?

ISE is a RADIUS and TACACS server.

It support any device that can talk RADIUS and TACACS. It also integrates with other identity and security services.

See http://cs.co/ise-compatibility for all devices and services that we have validated.

Please read Does ISE Support My Network Access Device? if you have further concerns.
