Hi Guys,
Does anyone have any experience of being able to run ACS 2.6 on a windows 03 machine. The client wants to upgrade the server running ACS to windows 03 but doesn't want to pay for a new release of ACS.
Has anyone managed to get ACS running on a 03 machine or is it a open and shut case of having to upgrade to ACS 3.3?
Thanks in Advance.

Hi
If they are using authentication through to AD, then I'd say its untested at best.
Replication can be an issue if the ACS registry config is large. Registry loading/dumping runs a lot slower on 2003 and can cause timeouts to occur during replication.
Also, the TAC will not support you.
Caveats aside it'll probably work fine.

Cheers for your reply Darren.
They are using a local Database and it's quite a small set up so fingers crossed nothing funny should be experienced.
I think we are going to build another machine and then test ACS on the new machine. If it all goes a bit strange then I think they'll decide to sit tight for the moment.
