ACS 3515- SW :5.8.1- license

I have used Cisco ACS 3515-K9 model with 500 Device licenses.

now my box licenses got fully occupied. At-present 546 devices added in ACS controller.

when i login to ACS showing that error   Managed devices count exceed. 

in this case how ACS will work and how license will be calculated.

is device based license or concurrent authentication based .

can i added few more devices ?

ACS 5.8 went end of sale in 2017, you won't be able to buy more/new licensing. You would have needed to order the large deployment add-on SKU, but you can't buy this anymore.

Also, the end of life for ACS 5.8 is also Aug 31st 2020, so you need to be looking at migrating this to ISE or you will be stuck on a non TAC supported platform.

my concern is how ACS calculate the 500 license. 

if i add more devices like 600 devices what ll be happened.

during authentication time only could check the device license .
