AireOS 8.10.196.0 and ISE compatability

Hello,

I have a 5520 WLC running AireOS 8.10.196.0. Yes, I know it's an older model which should be replaced, but sometimes you just have to live with them, and all of our other WLC's have been replaced with 9800's. I just have to live with this one for a while longer.

I've been doing some digging and I can't find any matrix that maps this device and software with the current ISE versions. Does anyone know the maximum ISE version that is compatible with this WLC/OS?

8.10.196.0 should be compatible with ISE 3.X.

    The above indicates the minimum ISE needed ; so you should be good to go!
    I don't think there is a restriction w.r.t  the maximum ISE version
