I have problem with my authentication tacacs in my asa firewall 5585-X.
I connect the asa to tacacs server but cannot authenticated, but if i console its authenticated with my local password.
That i want to ask is why the asa can authenticated with password local if i console it? whereas my asa can connect to server tacacs.
This is all my asa configuration.
aaa-server TACACS protocol tacacs+
user-identity default-domain LOCAL
aaa authentication enable console TACACS LOCAL
aaa authentication http console TACACS LOCAL
aaa authentication telnet console TACACS LOCAL
aaa authentication serial console TACACS LOCAL
aaa authentication ssh console TACACS LOCAL
aaa authorization command TACACS LOCAL
aaa accounting enable console TACACS
aaa accounting ssh console TACACS
aaa accounting command TACACS
aaa accounting serial console TACACS

aaa authorization exec authentication-server
