Avaya switches support

Hi,

I have an opportunity at customer that all of his access switches are Avaya 3548 POE based.

According to the compatibility matrix, only AAA is supported, limited profiling and no posturing at all.

I need to understand what are the limitations for an ISE deployment on that given network.

Please help!

Many Thanks!

Mainly the lack of device sensor support. If not done already, please review How To: ISE Profiling Design Guide

To add to Hsing's response, we have not performed full feature testing with this specific Avaya switch model, but ISE provides a compliment of 3rd-party features to allow integration with 3rd-party NADs.  A typical requirement is support for SNMP or RADIUS-based CoA to handle flows that rely on change of authorization (CWA, Posture, MDM, Guest, BYOD, etc.)
