Hi @Nadia Bbz

 please take a look at:

1. Administration > System > Settings > SMTP Server.

Click the Test Connection button to check your configuration.

2. Administration > System > Settings > Alarm Settings

Check not only the Alarm Notification tab, but also a particular alarm configuration.

Hope this helps !!!

Hi @Marcelo Morais

i haven't Test Connection button in version 2.4

i was also check Particular alarm configuration , i configured alarm notification since a year  all work fine , but today i don't know why that's not work

Hi @Nadia Bbz

There is a way to send a test email in 2.4 but its hidden really well.

Go to Work Centers > Guest Access > Portals & Components > Guest Types > Choose one of the available guest types and Edit. You will find the test button under Account Expiration Notification

There are many reasons why this could fail. If you have access to your SMTP gateway then you might want to check the logs of the gateway. You could also create a TCP Dump on ISE, this might give a hint where the issue lies.

You can perform a TCP Dump under Operations > Troubleshoot > Diagnostic Tools > TCP Dump.

Add as filter ip host <ip-address-of-smtp-gateway>.

hi @martin.fischer  ;

thanks for your help

after using TCP DUMP , i get that i haven't enough system resources  as picture attached , but  in system summary i see that i have sufficient resources as show in attached

Hi @Nadia Bbz ,

double check if you Memory is Reserved on the VM.

Take a look at Resource Allocation Reservation for more info.

Hope this helps
