36xx is for 2.6
35xx for 2.2-2.4 (current recommended release)

Other than that it’s all about performance and scale sizing. You can compare here

2.6 is supported on the SNS 3500's.

2.4 is not currently supported on the SNS 3600's. Only 2.6 will run on the 3600's today.

 - Have a look at table 1) and table 2) from the link below. The high end model can support more endpoints.

Hello,

So, the release 2.6 is not supported on 35xx Appliance?

And 2.2-2.4 releases are not recommended on 36xx Appliance?

I ask because, normaly, any customer need to upgrade his system with new
version, so if the 35xx Appliance doesn't support 2.6 release, it will be
difficult in the future and if 2.2-2.4 releases are not recommanded on
36xx, this situation obliges me to choose immediately 2.6 releases for my
deployment with 36xx.

2.6 is supported on the SNS 3500's.

2.4 is not currently supported on the SNS 3600's. Only 2.6 will run on the 3600's today.

Thank you very much!
