Cisco ISE - Diff bet Compliance module and support charts

Hello All,

Can someone tell me the diff between ISE (NAC Agent or AnyConnect) compliance module and support?

By reading Cisco documents, it is not very clear what are these and why we need them? Both looks similar in some documents.

Any help to clarify the confusion is much appreciated.

Thank you,

Mohan M

NAC Agent was the original way of doing Posture Assessment, but support for it is dropped in later releases of ISE as Posture via AnyConnect is taking over that role. They both do the same thing and more or less support the same compliance modules.

If you’ve got a choice, the future (actually, the present even) is AnyConnect, so go with that.

Adding the Cisco document (see attachment) that talks about support chart and compliance module. Can't see any diff between the two. Can anyone see the diff?

Thank you,

Mohan
