In lots of the AAA documentation it talks about the TACACS+ server being able to supply the password prompt to be displayed to users logging in, in exec mode to say a router or switch by telnet.
Problem is that this is either a hidden TACACs+ AV attribute, or some hidden global configuration somewhere.
Anyone have any tips?

ACS for Windows doesn't currently support customizable prompts. The documentation you're looking at is probably ACS for Unix, which has supported them for ages.
There's an old enhancement request for ACS NT to support this, but to be honest I think it's been forgotten because no-one's really ever asked for it. The bug ID is CSCdm45377, viewable here:

If you really want this functionality, then I would suggest getting your Account Manager to push for this bug to be implemented.

Great.. I was starting to wonder if I hadn't read the ACS3.2 for NT documentation properly.
