Has anyone successfully turned up Facebook social media login?

After lengthy conversations with TAC and our ISE CCIE it appears our 2.4 patch 2 is running up against a couple of bugs preventing social auth with Facebook.  Has anyone worked around this other than downgrading to 2.4 which was the recommended solution?

**UPDATE**   I was logged into the wrong instance of ISE, and tested on 2.3.  2.4 still not working.  Sorry for the confustion.

I've updated and tested a working configuration this morning.  I added a comment to the end of the document for clarity.
