Hi
Cisco Identity Services Engine User Guide, Release 1.2, chapter 5, Administering Cisco ISE, page 5.4 deals with changing time zones on an ISE node. First, it describes how to change the time zone via CLI. Then it goes on to tell you that a) doing this on a standalone or primary ISE node is not supported, and that b) doing this on a secondary ISE node renders it unusable. So I am not sure why this manual contains explicit instructions on how to render your ISE node unusable. Here is the exact text:

Changing the System Time Zone
Once set, you cannot edit the time zone from the Admin portal. To change the time zone setting, you must enter the following command in the Cisco ISE CLI:
clock timezone timezone
Caution Changing the time zone on a Cisco ISE appliance after installation causes the Cisco ISE application on that node to be unusable. However, the preferred time zone (default UTC) can be configured during the installation when the initial setup wizard prompts you for the time zone.
Changing time zone impacts different Cisco ISE node types in your deployment as follows:

======================
The ISE 1.3 documentation seems to have replaced the User Guide with the Administrator Guide. In the Change System Time Zone subject in the Administer Cisco ISE section, the caveat from 1.2 does not exist.
So is it ok to change the time zone in V1.3 and above?
Thanks!
