ISE 1.4 CLI hangs on show run or show start

I have a client running ISE 1.4 patch 3.  When we run show run or show start from the cli, it hangs at 'generating configuration.'  Never ran into this issue before and cannot find a solution.

Are you running ISE 1.4p3 on a virtual machine OR appliance?

Do you see this issue on single or multiple nodes?

There is a defect but it was found on ISE 1.3 - workaround is to disable CDP on the gig 0

This is running on a physical appliance (3495).  I will see if disabling CDP on the gig 0 interface makes a difference.
