ISE 1.4 Sponsor Portal wrong duration of guest tickets

Hi to all,

we're using ISE 1.4.0.253 patch 3.

Somehow the guest tickets created from sponsor portal have the wrong duration.

For example:

duration of 3 days

start time: 2015-08-31 8:12am

end time: 2015-09-02 8:12am

that's just 2 days instead of 3!

In the ticket summary it says remaining time 2 days 0 hours.

So the real ticket duration is: set duration -1

How can we fix that?

Are you sure your sponsor and the guest type is allowed to create accounts of that length?, i believe that if you try to set a longer length than allowed ISE will auto adjust to the longest allowed account length.

What happens if you select 4 days, do you get 3 days or 2 days length?

Hi Jan,

if I select the length of 4 days I get 3 days.

The max duration allowed to choose by the sponsor is 7 days (so 6 in that case)

Hmm, that certainly sounds like a bug of some sort, have you tried changing from days to hours and check if it's then 1 hour less than requested or if it's always 1 day less ie. 24 hours?

ha! that's interesting. I switched from days to hours (168 = 7 days) and it worked fine!

Thought I'd be on the "safe side" with ne latest patch 3 ?!

Interesting, i will have to test this in my lab myself. I guess mistakes sneek into patches, i actually don't recall having seen this problem in 1.4 without patch 3.
