ISE guest self registration with email validation and grace period access

Is it possible to have a guest self registration portal wherein the user creates an account, has to have an email validation sent but in order to get the email they get a grace period of Internet access for around 20 minutes?

I know Meraki have this ability for hotspot portal access but can't see if it can be done on ISE with Cisco Aironet.

So need to get it so user registers, gets Internet straight away so they can retrieve email, and after 20 mins the connection is dropped and redirect to login page. Then they login with credentials and get standard 8 hours access. Need it to be seamless and not have to do any manual URLs. Is it possible?

Not something built into the product

What type of situation is this? Is is possible to give them access to a kiosk to create and print accounts?

option : is to give hotspot, Redirect them after accepting AUP.
Tell them on hotspot page to register (with link to a registration page)
Create an account and get credentials that way? Then after a while will have to login
Check out the short hotspot option

Hi thanks for replying.

it is a customer requirement that a user registers for access with an email address and then gets temporary Internet access in order to retrieve the email. The example you posted seems to give 15 minutes access then redirects to a register screen. We need it the other way round. Register, get access temporarily then force to login using credentials in email. We want an automated process so don't want any kind of sponsor in advance account creation. Also a kiosk is not suitable as the customer wants anyone to use their own device to register. Any other suggestions?

Those are the solutions we have. Not exactly same flow but similar. Otherwise you might be able to build something using an API custom solution
