Ise infoblox integration

I need to know which ise versions support infoblox integration. Latest version of infoblox mentioned that they support ise 3.1

Hi,

   In theory, Infoblox documentation states it supports ISE versions 2.6, 2.7, 3.0 and 3.1. In practice, both sides need to support the same pxGrid version. ISE version 2.7 was the last version to support pxGrid 1.0 which is also supported by all Infoblox version except version 9.0. Starting ISE version 3.0, only pxGrid version 2.0 is supported, which is the same with Infoblox version 9.0 which supports only version 2.0.

   If you run Infoblox version 9.0, integration should work with any ISE version starting with 3.0 all the way up to the latest version of 3.5.

Hi,

   Not that I'm aware of, however the only real dependency (unless you hit a bug), it's the pxGrid version. Infoblox states support of ISE up to version 3.1, however there's no real technical reason support for up to version 3.5 not working.

regarding to the required steps from ISE side. should i use ANC instead of EPS ?

I checked Infoblox integration requirements. ISE 2.6–2.7 uses pxGrid 1.0, while ISE 3.0 and above use pxGrid 2.0. Since Infoblox 9.0 supports pxGrid 2.0, I can integrate it with ISE 3.0 up to 3.5. I don’t see any technical reason why 3.4 or 3.5 wouldn’t work as long as pxGrid is compatible.
