ISE Support for ISR NIM-ES2-4 or NIM-ES2-8

Does ISE support the ISR NIM modules NIM-ES2-4 or NIM-ES2-8.

They are 4-Port and 8-Port Layer 2 Gigabit EtherSwitch Network Interface Module (NIM), integrates the Layer 2 features and provides a 1-Gbps connection to the multigigabit fabric (MGF) for intermodule communication.

Cisco Identity Services Engine Network Component Compatibility, Release 2.2 - Cisco

Does not list these NIMs

Wondering if these were tested, and if they support advanced functions like central web authentication (CWA), Change of Authorization (CoA), Security Group Access (SGA), and downloadable access control lists (ACLs), are only supported on Cisco devices.    Any help appreciated!

All network devices that have been validated and supported by our QA team are listed in the supported network device section of the compatibility matrix.  Many times these network modules run the same code a 2960X or 3560 switch would run.  If that is the case with these network modules, chances are good that they have the features you are asking about.  You will have to put them in a lab to know for sure or wait for our QA team to validate them and add them to the matrix.

Tim,

Is there an ETA when QA will validate them and add them to the matrix?

Thanks

Doug

Doug,

Not that I'm aware of at this time.  I will send a note to the team that owns this process and let them know of your request.

Team Cisco,

Any update on this getting QA'd and added to support matrix?

Thanks,

Doug
