ISE v3.5 fresh install with backup from v3.4.. no logs

I have installed a new ISE v3.5 where I restored a backup from v3.4

But after this, I cannot see any logs in Operations -> Live Logs

The clients seems to be authenticated OK, but I cannot see any traces of it. Not in Live Logs either.

Anyone else experienced this?

  - @dal           Check for browser caching effects : connect to ISE with Chrome in Incognito Mode , reject cookies.

@dal ,

 two questions to better understand your issue ...

  • The Live Logs data is in MnT, are you also having issues with the Context Visibility (where the data is in PAN) ?
  • Are your PAN and MnT in different Nodes ?

I didn't stick around to troubleshoot this anymore. But I can say that I tried different browsers, in both private mode and not. It all showed the same thing.

I installed a fresh v3.4 and slapped the backup in there. Also pathed it with patch 4, so it's ready for v3.5.

Upgrading a fully working v3.4 with patch 4 to v3.5 didn't work either. Same result. I only see the logs from before the upgrade.

There is also a new error:

Maybe rehire some QA staff, and stop wasting peoples's time, Cisco?

I also maintain another ISE installation, where we ran into a bug with the log collection when patching from v3.4 patch 3 to patch 4:
