PIX to Client VPN with local authentication

Running PIX ver 6.2(2) with DES activation key 56 bit.

Trying to get VPN3000 client ver 3.6.3 to vpn through the PIX. Can this be done using local usernames configured on the PIX itself ? Or do you have to use an external Radius server ?

I´m using this config with VPN3000 client ver 3.6.1, and using local auth.

This work fine to me.

For information if anyone has a look at this.

I needed to raise a TAC case on this one....

It is possible to locally authenticate Client VPN's on a router but this is currently not supported on the PIX...6.2 does allow local auth but only for commands on the PIX itself rather than auth through the box.
