Register Secondary ACS 4.1 with Primary ACS 5.2

We have two ACS servers,they operating Primary for two system .Now,We want provide unitized authentication,but we have warries about different version of ACS.

Can ACS 4.1  register to ACS 5.2 as secondary?

If they can,how ?

PS:Tow ACS servers has different base license and Large Deployment add-on license.

That is not possible. While both 4.x and 5.x versions provide similar functionalists, they have some very significant differences. For instance, the 4.x version runs on the top of Windows OS and has no licensing while the 5.x version runs as application installed in the Linux based Cent OS. Thus, if you would like to move from 4.x to 5.x you will have to perform a migration.
