Imp > Before you shutdown the ISE node, take a configuration and operational backup.
The correct way to shut down an ISE node is
1. Application stop ise
2. Halt
halt :Disables or shuts down the Cisco ISE server.

Hi @sonalivapilkar2197 ,
to start ISE Application, use the:
ise/admin# application start ise
to check the ISE Application status, use the
ise/admin# show application status ise
For example:
ise/admin# show application status ise
ISE PROCESS NAME STATE PROCESS ID
--------------------------------------------------------------------
...
Application Server running 16566
...
Hope this helps !!!

Thanks, it helped. Anyhow, in my environment, when the VM was powered on the services were up and running again without any input from my side. Hoping this would help someone else!
