Keep getting this Licensing error message on a regular basis on the ISE 3.1 patch 3. See attached.
There was no issue between the ISE and Internet around that time.

Hi @adamscottmaster2013 ,
double check your Licensing configuration (at Administration > System > Licensing) special attention to Connection Method.
If you are using a Proxy, double check your configuration at Administration > System > Settings > Proxy.
Note: try different Connection Methods to verify your issue.

I am NOT using proxy, the ISE has direct Internet access to https://tools.cisco.com, https://tools1.cisco.com and https://tools2.cisco.com
Any other ideas?

This is a common error across many Cisco Smart Licensed products (switches, firewalls, ISE, etc.). This seems to be a backend system issue on the Cisco side. As long as your ISE deployment shows registered on the licensing page and you have no license alarms then you can ignore this.
