Upgrading ACS SE 1112 HW from V 3.3.3 to V 4.1

I am following the procedure here in upgrading the ACS SE. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_server_for_solution_engine/4.1/installation/guide/solution_engine/upgap.html#wp1126012

However, in step 5 (running the start.bat under the Upgrade Appliance Management folder) letter d ( Enter the hostname or the IP address of the distribution server and then click Install. ) I get the webpage cancelled error message and doesnt get the login prompt. And when I run the backup, I get an error message that it failed. So my question is what is missing in my setup why I am not getting the webpage when I enter the distribution server ip address? I am using a laptop directly connected to the ACS using a crossover cable.

Hello,

I will suggest you to open a SR with US and request the engineer to convert the DB for you.

Doing the upgrade with patches sometimes is not the best thing.

Also I suggest you our latest version that will be ACS 4.2.1.
