Hello.

I have a 2960G switch that had a power-bump and reset to factory default. I am running CiscoWorks LMS 3.2 and have the configuration. How do I do a restore across the network?

Thanks in advanced!

You have multiple ways. You can do it manually by taking the shadow config from NMSROOT/files/rme/dcma/shadow, copying it to the server's tftpboot directory, then copy it from the server to the device (or just copy and paste it into the console).

The more elegant way is to use the Version Tree. First, make sure the device has some initial config on it (i.e. same IP, SNMP credentials, and telnet/SSH credentials). Then, go to RME > Config Mgmt > Archive Mgmt > Version Tree, and open the desired config for this device (usually the latest PRIMARY RUNNING config).

In the config viewer window, click on the Deploy button. Select the Merge radio button, and Submit.
