3rd party SFP's

Hi all

Is there a way to determine if the SFP's installed in a C6500 are 3rd party or not via NCM ?

I think if you do a "sh int status" it will tell you what brand the SFP is.  I'm not in front of a router right now so I can't check for sure.

Sure.  Do a "sh idprom interface " and look under "Vendor Name".  If it doesn't have "CISCO" in the prefix it's 3rd party.
