6500 & NAM2

I cannot get IP connectivity to my NAM2 after I upgraded a 6500 from a Sup2 with HybridOS to a Sup720 with IOS. The IP address of the NAM2 was in the same subnet at the Sup2 CatOS. Now that CatOS has gone away, I no longer have IP connectivity to the NAM2. There are other active devices in the subnet, and they all work fine. I can do a "session slot 4 processor 1" to connect to the NAM2, which proves the NAM2 is working okay. It's obviously an IP issue. What IP space do I have to put the NAM2 in to make it reachable?

You use the command:

analysis module X management-port access-vlan VLAN

To specify the management VLAN of the NAM. However, you may be running into CSCee10005 in which case you need to configure the following on the switch:

fabric switching-mode force bus-mode
