6500's and PI 2.2 snmpv3 Problems

Hi Folks,

After an upgrade to PI 2.2 (from 2.1) my Catalyst 6509's and 6513's have a snmpv3 Issue.

They get managed when i add them to pi 2.2 but snmp inventory fails with

"Unable to collect the Flash and Image related information from the Device"

While all my 3560's ( with the same snmpv3 config) do not fail. (12.2(55)SE9)

It does not seem a compatability issue as i found that ios versions greater 12.2 are supported (running 12.2(33) SXi3 here).

Has anyone seen the same behaviour in PI 2.2, and is there a solution.

Hi Frans,

Go to Administration > System Settings > SNMP Settings

Increased the SNMP Timeout and RETRY ::

Reachability Retries     =3
Reachability Timeout  = 14

Then

delete and readdd the devive and see how it works

I had some trouble with PI 2.1 and i had not tinkered with the snmp time-outs in 2.2

it works now.
