Hi
I don't understand the difference between the commands of MGM 5.0 :
"mgms-stop" and "mgms-abort"
I checked the scripts and both have the same comment:
Check that MGX services are not running and stop cwm processes and orbix pro
cesses.
I checked also in the User Guide of MGM 5.0 but the two commands are listed without any explanation.
Could someone help me ?

The mgms-stop command stops the Cisco MGM server. The stop procedure shuts down the server and cleans all memory and connections. The overall process takes less than five minutes. The mgma-abort command also serves the same function. It shuts the server down.

Thanks
this is also writed on the User Guide but what is the difference, I means when I have to use the mgms-abort rather than the mgms-stop.
Readimg the script the only difference seems to be that the mgms-stop script calls the procedure ctms-abort.I ned this information because my customers are a little confused about this command.
Thanks
