About the netflow send out frequency

Hi,

Would anyone knows how frequency the netflow message send out from Cisco router ? I thought it depends on the router internal mechanism, anyone would explain it if has ?

Hello,

I think that router send exports in the 8 sec intervals. If flow export cache is full it will send

netflow packets immediately. I really don't know if it is cisco algorithm, but experimentally I receive bulk of netflow packets every 8s. Expiration of flows depends on the flow cache active/inactive timeouts and TCP FIN/RST flags.
