Hello,
we would like to enable CVTQ reporting on MGCP gateways for having this information in Service Monitor reports.
In the SM 2.1 release notes it is stated to configure:
mgcp voice-quality-stat all
What kind of performance impact will we have to expect?
We wanted to activate it on a 3845 with 12 E1 interfaces (350 B-channels).
Are there any recommendations? I didn't find such information on cisco.com.
Thank you!
Regards,
Andreas

To enable CVTQ data on Cisco MGCP voice gateways, you need the correct Cisco IOS software and DSP hardware and you must enable voice quality statistics on the voice gateway.
To enable voice quality statistics on the voice gateway, use this command:
mgcp voice-quality-stat all

Thank you for your reply!
We checked all this already and it is supported on the gateway, correct DSPs and IOS version.
But the question is how it will impact the performance of the router?
The customer wants to use up to 12 E1 lines on this device.
Thank you!
Andreas
