Hello,
I have a problem summarized in the title. I would like to send alarm notification emails from Cisco Prime (version 2.2.) specific virtual domains to specific receivers.
Is that option or some variation even possible?
Thank you in advance,
A. Pikula

Did you ever figure this out? I too would like to enable alarm notification via email to specific receivers in each virtual domain.

Hello Brian,
At the end I didn't find the solution on the Prime.
I dealt with the problem on mail server, with distribution groups.
First you set a command >>snmp-server location location<< on network equipment in that virtual domain. In that way you can use that parameter (location) on mail server for filtering to which distribution group you need to forward the mail.
I hope that this will help you.
If it does, please do the rating.

I have SNMP location set on all of my network devices, but that parameter doesn't show up in my email notifications. Do you know how you got the location parameter to show up in the email notification?

I think it was by default that the location was send with the alarm. You should first check if it is received by prime.
When you go to Monitor>Network Devices and click to any of the devices to check Device details tab, do you have under General parameters specified the location that you set on selected device?

Yes, it is definitely listed there, but it doesn't show up in the email notification. I am running version 2.2.3.
