AP Configuration and WLC Managment

I am currently studying for the ENCOR exam, and I ran across this practice question:

Suppose that you have just received news that no users can connect with a newly installed AP. Which one of the following bits of information would be important when you search for the AP’s name from the WLC? (Choose all that apply.)

a. The AP has a valid IP address.
b. The AP is not found.
c. The AP has no channel numbers listed for the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
d. The AP has a valid MAC address

Answer: ABC

It seems like all of these answers are correct. Wouldn't D be correct, because an invalid MAC causes issues with connectivity with the WLC?

Any input is appreciated.

I'd go with B.
If the AP doesn't have a valid IP address, the AP wouldn't join the WLC.
