Hi,
Does anyone know how I could archive a config locally on switches?
This is what i have for routers:
archive
log config
hidekeys
path flash:/archive/backup
maximum 7
write-memory
exit
When I try to do path ? this is what I get:
(config-archive)#path ?
ftp: Write archive on ftp: file system
http: Write archive on http: file system
https: Write archive on https: file system
rcp: Write archive on rcp: file system
scp: Write archive on scp: file system
tftp: Write archive on tftp: file system
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,

The bug is an internal enhancement request. It basically asks for support for local destinations for config archive. The bug is assigned to a developer, but there is no ETA on a fix.

This is not currently possible, but a bug has been opened for this (CSCsi61368).

Thanks for the response.. it doesn't look like I can access that bug id, is there any way you could either email me to post the details?
Thank you.
