ASA5505 after changing to backup firewall, tunnel not working

Hi,

We are using ASA5505 with 1 site to site VPN.

I copy the configuration to our spare firewall ASA5505, internet is working but the site to site VPN is not working.

If I connect back the primary ASA5505, the site to site VPN is working again.

what is the reason for same configuration in both ASA5505 but the site to site VPN only work in the primary ASA?

I have to reestablish the tunnel or something?

If you just copy the "show run" output, any VPN pre-shared key will not convey.

Instead use the output from "more system:running-config". That will give you the preshared key in plain text.
