Hi,

One of our customers had a WCS under a valid subscription contract so they bought an upgrade do PI 2.2

(R-W-PI2X-U-K9 WCS to Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.x Upgrade)

While preparing for installation Prime Infrastructure 3.0 came out so the question is can they go straight to version 3.0 instead of version 2.2?

Regards.

Cisco's documentation states that you first need to install PI 2.2, import the license files and than upgrade to PI 3.0. However, I found out that this is actually not required. So you can just active the 2.x PAC codes on the website and import the "PIFEAT" .lic file directly into PI 3.0.

You do need to have an active software contract if you want to deploy PI 3.0.
