I want to configure callback with a modem connected to the aux port. Basically call back with this initial setup: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk36/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094bbc.shtml
This is only for management purposes and not a async dialup access server. I do not want to have to configure PPP.
Is this possible and can someone point me to a url or post a basic config?
Thanks,
RJ

I think you will find this URL useful. This document explains how to use a modem on the AUX port to configure dialout. In this scenario, a router with a modem on the AUX port dials the Primary Rate Interface (PRI) of the central site router.

Thanks for the post. The problem is that this requires a setup on the other side. What I need is the modem on aux port to hand up when I call, then call my number back which just has a modem attached to it. I guess I would more advanced program than hyperterminal on the inital dialing end.
